Average legacies to charities are around £4,000 for cash sums and £30,000 for shares of estates. Many of your supporters may not have realised they can leave a legacy to you which is tax-free and a valuable way of reducing their inheritance tax liabilities. In fact, we know that many people are often in the dark when it comes to their wills and estate planning and find the whole process quite daunting. Having an AGM? Running a local fundraising initiative? We have developed a session which can be delivered as part of your event. It will educate and inform your supporters on the issues around making a will, including protecting the family home from care fees, avoiding hefty probate costs, ensuring beneficiaries who need help are looked after properly, protecting assets for future generations, and how to leave a legacy.
Our aim is to engage with your supporters and provide clear, simple and impartial information. The presentation is half an hour, with 10 minutes for questions. Our experience of these sessions is that as the hosting organisation you will be giving something of value to your supporters and their families.

There really isn't one. We offer a quick, easy and low-cost will writing service that your supporters could benefit from using. We are members of The Society of Willwriters and Estate Planning Practitioners, so you can be assured we are qualified for Trust work under their Code of Practice. Our prices are clear and simple. In return, for every supporter that uses our service we will make a donation to your charity of 20% of the fee invoiced (net of VAT).
