Supporting Martin House Children’s Hospice

We are delighted to announce that this year we will be providing ongoing support for the very worthy Martin House Children’s Hospice. Since it was formed in 1987, the hospice has played a leading role in the development of the philosophy and delivery of children’s hospice care, not only in the UK but throughout the world.

Their commitment to this innovative development and the delivery of high quality, child and family led services continues and is vital to the children and their families. To continue with the essential support that they provide, charitable support is vital, and without it they would close. Government support provides less than a tenth of the budget needed, meaning Martin House relies almost entirely on donations and fundraising to raise around the £3.7 million a year needed to provide vital care and support for so many local children and their families.

Here at Pearson and Associates, we are going to hold several charitable fundraising events throughout 2008, commencing with a golf day at the end of May, a silent auction in June, and in September we will be organising a Yorkshire Three Peaks sponsored walk.
